Established in 2010, FDI has built a strong reputation in the construction industry providing formwork and falsework hire and sales services to sub-contractors working on major construction projects across government and private sectors. 

The funding, facilitated through the North West Business Growth Loan Fund will support FDI’s comprehensive expansion strategy, including infrastructure enhancement through improvements to its premises that will help accommodate new machinery and the modernisation of its fleet with the addition of new delivery vehicles.

Under the leadership of Directors Carl Kidman, Steve Dempsey, and David Hughes, the company has successfully transitioned from export focused operations to become a key player in both the UK construction rental market and anticipates strong growth as a result of the loan.

The new funding will also support workforce development, with FDI expecting to create six new jobs.
