Press Release:
Zenith Eco Solutions, a Widnes-based, environmentally centric plumbing, heat and air-conditioning installation business, has secured a £75,000 investment from NPIF – River & GC Microfinance, which River Capital manage in partnership with GC Business Finance as part of the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund.
Established in 2018 by owners Liam Owens and Zac Corcoran, Zenith Eco Solutions is committed to helping improve Britain’s emissions through installing more energy-efficient heating systems such as condensing boiler upgrades and air source heat pumps and has seen considerable growth over the past five years.
A Trustmark-accredited company, Zenith Eco Solutions, alongside its other services, can also offer free or subsidised grants to its customers as part of the government-backed ECO scheme. The scheme is designed to tackle fuel poverty and to help reduce carbon emissions, supporting low-income, fuel-poor, and vulnerable households to heat their homes.
The cash injection from the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund will assist them in expanding its skillset, creating up to six new jobs and help obtain accreditations that will allow the company to provide additional services that will assist in combating environmental issues while efficiently heating UK homes.
River Capital Debt Portfolio Manager Steve Hitchen said: “We’re pleased to support Liam, Zac, and the Zenith Eco Solutions team with NPIF funding as they look to obtain further accreditations that will allow them to extend their service offerings.
As a business, they have proved successful, assisting vulnerable households, and fighting carbon emissions, complementing River Capital’s commitment to ESG, and we look forward to witnessing their future successes.”
Sean Hutchinson at the British Business Bank said: “The Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund continues to invest in businesses like Zenith Eco Solutions, which are helping to reduce carbon emissions. The NPIF loan will help the company grow as they expand their team, services, and accreditations to continue their fight against fuel poverty and climate change. It’s businesses like Zenith Eco Solutions that are paving the way for a greener, more sustainable future, and we’re excited to see what they’ll achieve next.”
